These resolutions will be placed before the Board of Trustees of Centre College of Kentucky at their fall meeting, October 30, 1954. It would be of considerable help to our trustees if we had the latest accurate information concerning what our independent non-tax-supported institutions of higher education in Kentucky are doing on this matter. I hope that we can have this information prior to October 30th, 1. Does your present policy permit you to accept qualified Negro applicants? So far no racial barriers have been imposed in recent decades. 2.
