Dear Friend:

We appreciate so much your recent letter and feel very keenly the problem which you are working with. I discussed the matter at length with our athletic director, L. E. Jones, and it seems that our situation here makes the matter of a Saturday athletic program rather difficult.

I have asked Mr. Jones to answer your letter in detail. Please rest assured that it is my desire to be as helpful as possible in coordinating our efforts to solve the problems that we have in common, such as this one. Please feel free to contact me about such things at any time.

Cordially yours,

Dr. H, Leo Eddleman

P.S. I am wondering if you have done anything about the race question concerning which you wrote me.
