Dr. H, Leo Eddleman, President
Georgetown College
Georgetown, Kentucky
Dear President Eddleman:

The Board of Trustees of Centre College of Kentucky have taken no action concerning the matter of segregation. However, it must be discussed at an early meeting of the Board in view of the recommendations of both Presbyterian Churches in Kentucky, as well as the two women's organizations of both Presbyterian Churches in this state, in which all four organizations strongly urged that Centre College of Kentucky take steps to do away with segregation and report what has been done at the meetings of these organizations scheduled for the summer of 1955. In the light of these recommendations, some action must be taken and as soon as this has been done I will be glad to communicate it to you.

Very sincerely yours,
Walter A. Groves
President
